In determining what I want on my MCS I came across a "hmmm?" when it came to the xenon headlights. Yeah they're bright and all, but how expensive are they to replace?

 

IMO (but that's what you asked for ), they're GREAT! I had actually thought that I wouldn't be getting them since there was a production shortage that turned out to be resolved right before my car was built; but I did get them, and find them to be very bright and completely revolutionary technology...they actually light up the road at night. Duh, you may say...but compared to regular halogen lights, these things are REALLY bright. They're like projector bulbs vs. a 75-watt incandescent light. I'd say they're a must-have if you intend to do any driving outside of well-lit urban streets.

I have heard that they're a beacon for cops...especially if you have them on during the day. But maybe you keep to the speed limit, or at any rate, a few tickets may be worth it for lights that allow you to see and be seen.

 

I drive on country roads through Florida going to work at 3 AM every day. Had a deer attack my car while I was doing 65 MPH last year. If I had the Xenon's I think I would have seen it sooner and not have had the new hood ornament. When I got my MCS I got the Xenon's and also had the driving lights installed which only engage when hi-beams are on. If you need light, get the Xenon's.
