Hi there guys. I just got into my car and found some weird cracks in it. This is way to weird. Its on the side bolster on the drivers side where you slide your *** of from going in and out. I maintain it regularly and put cream on it :/

This is what my car has
Upholstery KUNSTLEDER/PANTHER SCHWARZ (K7PN)
429 INTERIOR SURFACE, ANTHRACITE

 

FWIW, Kunstleder is German for synthetic leather, meaning you have vinyl seats like most of us. No idea if what you are putting on it is compatible or not.

 

I have the same upholstery and mine has the same cracks in the same area as yours. Every early R53 with the same upholstery I've seen seems to have the same issue.

Is this real leather, or just fake?
