R50/53 A/C makes Throttle Weak
A/C makes Throttle Weak
When I turn on the A/C especially full blast, When I try to take off on first gear it almost stalls, It has no ***** whatsoever. I mean its a non S 2004 cooper but still it feels a lot more jumpy when the A/C is off. Is this only my issue?
My MDX never lost power like that. But I can see why it does do it which was my speculation. I just wanted to confirm as I never felt it this bad. Cool deal thanks guys I guess I wont be trying to gun it when I have the A/C on and grandpa up.
Ive been dealing with the same problem on my 2002 cooper. They compressor is fine. Its charged, it spits out cold air but it really robs the power under 3,000 rpm. Just have to give it some more gas when taking off is about what the dealer told me. They also played with the ECU(engine computer) and bumped up the idle conpensation but i still feel it. Just get used to it. Or get rid of the A/C.
