R50/53 Estimated delivery dates

I just received an estimated delivery date for my Mini S for March 9th. How accurate are these dates? Any insight from fellow MC drivers

That's not set in stone. We got our car 2 weeks after the EDD and we picked up it within 6 hours after it arrived at our dealer. The EDD doesn't take into account delays that may be encountered at the VDC, if your car is going to the New York or California VDCs than these delays are quite common. Depending on the VDC and if they are running a backlog it could take 24 hours to 24 days to clear the VDC.
