Try the I'm an old fart, you won't be a Mini widow approach: It comes fast out of the box. No tinkering, no weekends of your wife only looking at your toes pointed at the garage ceiling. Just turn the key and start flying. That right there is worth a lot of $$$$.

By the way, I've been asking about JCW 0-60 numbers. I've heard about under 6.0 second claims, but have not confirmed that with any posts on NAM. JCW claims 6.2 seconds. My JCW felt like it was under 6.0 when I got it in MArch, but feels slower now. Maybe I'm addicted and need more Mini, but could also be fuel or ECU. Am looking into it.
