What tire pressure for 215/45/17s?

Just got a new set of tires. I went with the slightly wider 215/45/17 that most people seem to be running on the stock 17" wheels.

What kind of air pressure should I be running to get the best life out of them? Is 35psi about right....I should I go with something different?

Thanks!

Mine are 205/50/16's and I get the best mileage at 35 psi.
I'd think your size for psi would be pretty close to mine.
That's what the tire rack recommended.
My stock 195/55/16's were 33 psi.

I ran 38psi when i had my Dunlop SP sport 9000s on in the summer, but 37psi would have gotten me the grip i wanted probably. I would say it depends on the tires you're running, but 37 is probably a good starting point where you can reduce pressure if you want more grip and add if you want more response/slightly better mileage
