Chili red 05 MCS with AC Schnitzer kit going on consignment

I know this is not the market place - but this is not an ad for my car. It's more of an FYI...

My chili red 05 mcs (I'm second owner) with AC Schnitzer body kit, color matched wheels, full exhaust, pedal set, floor mats, shift **** and e-brake - first owner bought the car at SEMA - I bought it Nov 2007 with only 6500 miles - is going on consignment probably next week. Since I've owned the car I've put only about 45000 miles on it (odometer reads just over 50k miles).

I have also added: Alta CAI, Samco intake hose, custom carbon fiber air box, VIP engine damper, Cravenspeed short shift kit (2008), Cravenspeed 15% reduction pulley**, *550cc injectors, *larger bore cam, *dyno tuned to 202 whp (*October 2011), 17x 7 Enkei EDR 9 black wheels**, H&R sport springs**, Helix rear end links**, H&R 19mm rear sway bar**, Powerflex bushing** (** July 2011), OMP lower stress bar (December 2011), M7 Upper Strut Bar (November 2011), Blitzsafe ipod adaptor with iphone 4 connector, Bimmian iphone mount, window tint (spring 2011), yellow caliper paint (November 2011), Continental ExtremeContact DW tires with approx ~60% tread remaining (America's tire warranty). Additionally, rear brakes (pads/rotors) done July 2011 ~ 45000 miles, front pads/rotors done Oct 2010 ~37000 miles.

I will be putting car on consignment in Orange County California next week - will be putting AC Schnitzer wheels back on the car for consignment.

I wanted to post an opportunity in the forum though if anyone might be interested (or know someone...) before it goes on consignment.

From what I've heard over the years, mine is one of maybe a handful of US r53s with the AC Schnitzer kit. It is probably the only one in Chili Red. It also has a japanese rising sun vinyl graphic on the roof.

The car is amazing. It has been a daily driver and as such, has the typical road rash (exterior knicks/scratches, interior stains - those stupid factory cloth seats!) that accompanies a car driven every day (but as you can see from my low mileage - I don't drive many miles each day).

This is a bittersweet sale! I'm letting the car the go in order to purchase a 911. Unfortunately, I do not have the room to keep the Mini and a 911 has been a dream since I was probably 10 years old!

This car can be an awesome daily driver or definitely a super track car - which is what I would do if I could convince my wife to let me have both a 911 and keep the Mini.

At any rate - post a message or shoot me a pm if you want more info.

I will miss the forum when the car has departed my garage
