So I was driving home the other day, and went through a neighborhood in my city called Harlem Heights. It's a strange little anomaly: tucked into the middle of a swamp (this is SW Florida, so we have plenty of swamp) is a little strip of ghetto about a mile long. To either side of the swamp/ghetto is pretty nice, however. About in the middle, I passed what is commonly known to be a major drug house, and the yard is swarming with police: both normal officers, and SWAT, complete with riot gear, armor, machine guns, etc. As I passed in the MINI, however, all of these officers, swivel around, drop what they're doing, and rubberneck me driving by. When I get by, then theygo back to their work.

Fortunately, it looked like the busts/arrests/whatever was mostly over, but I had images of a news report along the lines of "Hardened criminals escape, due to local MINI!"
