I just finished up some work on my mini (LCA bushings). When I was putting the front bumper and cover back on, I ended up with two extra bolts. I can't for the life of me figure out where these two bolts go. I know they go in the front of the care somewhere...they were in my "bumper cover" plastic bag with the rest of the bolts.

Do they look familiar to anyone?? It's driving me nuts that I have two bolts left and I can't remember where they go!

Those look like the alignment bumper bolts at the corner of the bumpers. You bolt it upside down through the wheel well.

 

they go into the crush tubes behind the aluminum support.

they go into the small tabs located on number 7.

YEP!!!! As soon as I read your post I realized that's the bolts that I forgot to install! Thanks for the help!!! Unfortunately, now I have to pull the front bumper cover off again
