Mesh Grill Installation
I recently purchased the top and bottom mesh grill on ebay

and was wondering if anyone out there had instructions with pictures on how to install it. I have a 2004 cooper s.

I have an 06 S and did mine a few months back, the top one is pretty simple, just take the those little metal screw nuts off the old one and it should pop off then insert the new one and put the new nuts on, but as far as the bottom goes, there is like some modifying you have to do, it was going to be a hassle so I just plasti dipped my original one and stuck it back on
I did mine several years ago. I bought it from OutMotoring, they may have instructions.
As mentioned above, the 'bonnet" part is easy.
The lower part requires a good couple of hours worth of work. You have to remove the front bumper cover (take about 10- 15 minutes, not that tough) and then dremmel out the spots where the tabs on your new grille will be positioned. It's a little scary if you've never done it but not difficult. I spent more time measuring and making sure I was cutting the right spots than anything. I also spot painted the bumper area where the grille goes in flat black for a better look. With the spot painting it took me the better part of an afternoon, but it looks much better than half the job.
