TPMS question

I just bought my 02 Cooper the low tire light was on when i bought the car but the left rear looked low so i didn't think much about it. She needed tires anyways and the price for the car was right. Now after putting new tires on I keep having to reset the light but non of the tires are losing air. When i swapped one the new tires i noticed the were so sensors on the wheels. I figured that was the reason the light was on. I have been looking for sensors and just read that my mini uses the ABS sensor to determine tire pressure. If this is actually the case as i looking at a need to replace a wheel speed sensor? Why hasn't my car turned on an ABS light as well? I might hook up my scanner to see if there is anything funny showing up. Thanks

Hope that helps.

Even after you get it all sorted out, the next time you rotate your tires you can get a warning light. Just go thru the reset routine and motor on.

Yep sure does. Thanks. I guess I'll be replacing that OEM rear control arm mount sooner than i wanted. It's torn now. So i bet that's it.
