My wife wants to get a vainity plate for her MCS and its down to

PEE WEE
UBER MNI

She does not think most people will get uber mni, Its a loaded MCS and she is of german decent so I think it fits. Regarless she gets to pick what she wants but it made me think is uber mni too abstact, don't most people know what uber means?

Maybe I just am a geek, or maybe its a guy thing.

UBER MNI is great! I think most people will get it. Most people these days know what Uber means... and if they don't,

a) it's just one more thing that lets your wife talk about her MINI!

Who cares what others think? It's HER car, and if she likes "Pee Wee", then she should wear it proudly!

Personally, I'm a big Pee Wee Herman fan (his early work, at least)...but would probably prefer UBER MINI if I had to have a personalized plate on my car. Of course, I would never put a personalized plate on my own car... Oh well. (shrug)

Most people don't know what my plate means either. So do what I do - when they ask just say "I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."

I like it so much that she better apply for the license before I do!
Just kidding. And...I think that you will find that a lot of people will know what it means.

Hey that looks like Crissy Field! When the first shipment of MINIs came to S.F. they were temporarily garaged in one of the Crissy Field buildings for prepping. I and others drove down in droves to ogle them. So near and yet so far! (we could only see them through a window). That was a high for me.

Sometimes the "high" effect is more pronounced when you don't have something yet because of all the anticipation. Now, after 18 months, driving the MINI is routine (but still a great feeling).
