I'm a UK based MINI specialist and I need a source for automatic gearboxes for R50 MINIS.

Due to the unreliability of the CVT automatic gearboxes we are ending up with fewer gearboxes compared with the number of cars we have.

I just changed one last week. I have another one which needs doing but there are very few gearboxes available and they are very expensive. The customer won't be able to afford to get the job done if the cost of the gearbox is too high.

Does anyone know anyone in America who has a good supply of automatic transmissions for the R50? We will import them if the price is reasonable.
