Why don't you just put HIDs into the fogs. You just need to know what style of lamp goes in the fogs, and what color temperature the headlights are (probably around 5 or 6000K). I recommend DDM tuning, I had a set in my GTO and they are good quality and an easy plug and play install. Definitely don't get higher than the 35w kit though. 55w would probably melt something.

This should help you through it:

A couple of updates since this is from last year:

-Prices have changed
-Spend the extra money for the Slim Ballast they stay cooler and use less current than the raptor.
-You DON'T need the error code eliminators.
-Factory HID's are near 4500 (I would go slightly bluer with the DDM bulbs)

Been running mine for a year now, I run mine always w/ headlights, still work perfectly, I did notice a slight browning in the lower 30% of my foglight when I had the car apart last week. But not enough to concern me.

And yes it's more expensive, but IMO, absolutely worth it.

HIDs are definitely the way to go if you want to have any chance of matching the OEM projectors. I don't think it would be possible to get one of those blue light bulbs to match the color.

I've HID fogs on my R53... AWESOME lighting and the first night I tested them out it saved me from plowing into a deer.
