Aside from the location in front of the driver, the door frame and the strut tower are there any other locations were the vin number can be found on the mini. Thanks for any info

 

Hmmmm, since my car is on a cruise through Panama,,, I found mine in the email from my MA!

 

It's also located in a label behind the license plate. I think the engine/transmission may also be stamped with the car's "serial number" (the last seven digits of the VIN). My 2006 was accidentally given a 2007 VIN at the factory, and it took a lot of effort to get all the labels, the plate, and the strut tower stamping fixed.

 

Should be on just about every major body panel. I.e the doors, trunk lid, and on the body itself where the tire pressure + gross weight sticker is. Always a nice way to check and see if the cars been in an accident to the point where it needed new body panels.
