R50/53 Suggestions for BMW to improve on the MINI?

Echoing some of the things DarkGreyandWhite said, above, but for us MC-only guys:
1. Give us a 6th gear for mileage + highway. Yes, she's a brick and not a good all-around tourer, but long interstate slogs ae painful at 3-4k rpm. Granted, you're in the heart of the powerband at that rpm, but a gear where I can cruise at 2500rpm @ 70 would be great. I don't mind downshifting on hills on the interstate.
2. All those suspension changes would be gold! (Though, they'd probably move the Cooper from HS to GS in Autocross, but comme ci, comme ca :smile:
