Trick to unplugging factory Sirius receiver?
I'm trying to install a DICE MediaBridge, and I have factory Sirius. As such, I need to unplug the cable from the factory Sirius receiver in the trunk and plug that cable into the MediaBridge. Unfortunately, the Sirius unit is a real ***** to get to, and seems tough to remove. The cables are plugged into the top of the unit and are positioned in a manner that makes them tough to get your fingers on. Can someone who has done this before offer up a suggestion?
You have to remove the nut on the receiver on the right side and left side, the one on the left is a little tricky to get to. Then you can pull the whole receiver out. You need to be careful when you put the receiver back the nut on the left (yellow) is a ground and if it is not on, your car will not run.
