Lighter weight weight crank damper onthe 2005+ did help with throttle respose....
Lightweight flywheel if you do a clutch job can help,but may chatter or make hill starts harder (adds nvh compared to stock dual mass flywheel too).

I chuckle because part of my day job has me writing about the nanny state on a regular basis.

 

Just wanted to give an update. Installed the DT Bypass Valve this past Friday evening, and it fixed the issue. The car drives way better.

 

Good to hear! Those stock BPV's seems to cause all sorts of issues.

 

Yeah, I had no idea how much boost I was missing in 1st and 2nd.

 

I cannot wait to get my hands on one of those...
