OBD2 Intake Temperature

I just got an Ultragauge for my mini. One of the things I was interested in looking at was intake temperature after the intercooler. There only seems to be one intake temperature going out of the OBD2 port and I'm not sure where it is being pulled from. Anyone know it's location?

Thanks

I'm reasonably sure that it is the same sensor as the outside ambient temperature probe. That would be mounted behind the lower grill on the front bumper.

Curious, too!

Hmm, I don't think it is--I can see the ambient temperature on the dash, and it's usually at least a few degrees cooler than the intake temperature reading I get from my Garmin via bluetooth/ODB2. Ambient is actually quite a bit cooler when the turbo is in heavy use, which makes me think the intake sensor must be after turbo, and probably also after the intercooler, right?

EDIT: Sorry! I saw the thread through my RSS reader and didn't notice the forum. I've obviously got an R56, my apologies! I'm still curious where it is on both MCS's, though.

It's definitely not the ambient air temp. My on board display shows say 100 degrees(It's way hot here right now) Intake temp says 120-140. I'm starting to think it may be pre supercharger and intercooler. I have methanol injection and the displayed intake temp doesn't drop much if any when it's spraying.
