today was getting ice for my cooler at sonic and while waiting it just sputtered down and turned off i tried to crank it back up it starts and slowly sputters off again wont start now still sitting at sonic tonight any ideas what it is or should have looked at professionaly, also the gas and battery were ok

 

Did you check plugs and/or wires? Also sounds like it may be the fuel pump.

 

same thing happen to me when my fuel pump died

 

My first thought is fuel pump as well.

 

If you are on the original battery, that is probably the problem. When the battery goes bad in the MINI really weird things can happen.

 

Are you still sitting at Sonic, or did you call MINI of Charleston already?

 

No i towed it to a local bmw shop called total mini and bmw recomended by a friend to this guy named chad, im pretty sure he is on here as chadtoolio, heard great things cant want to get the mini up and running got a few mods to put on when i get it back
