The oh ***** I rounded off a lug bolt thread.

As the title states I rounded off a bolt tonight. Ive already tried the pound a socket on it method no luck.

Tomorrows attempt will be re-torque the other three lugs and a twist socket.

Any other suggestions here trying to avoid the torch.

Details: Stock Lug Bolt Enkei GTC01 wheel hence trying to avoid the torch.

P.s. Anyone in the Indy area have a twist socket that would be willing to meet up and/or help me out?

Take it to a tire shop. Been there, done that

they replaced my lugs for the price of a lug nut kit. Obviously not on a MINI but they still fixed it for me.

+1 I have a set of these for removing McGard wheel locks that have either a broken key tool or the lug itself is broken. Just seat them with a hammer they bit into the lug bolt.

+2. Got these (AutoZone) for my oil pan drain bolt. Worked like a charm.
