setting clock ?

I have a 2005 Mini "S" with the built in clock in the odometer. When I push the little black button, the clock goes to mileage. Push again and back to clock. How do you set the correct time for this clock?

ALSO: how do I post photos on this forum?

please e-mail : skipt46@suddenlink.net

thanks - Skip

Hold it down until it starts blinking. Wait for it to automatically move to the hour adjust time and press on the button to adjust the time. After you adjust the hour wait a few seconds and it will move to the minute.

setting clock

Thanks for that info. I would go try it RAT NOW, but today while driving in town my clutch pedal went to the floor and now it is at a local shop (not a Mini dealer). I will post a NEW POST to see if anyone can give me any advice.
Thanks again "Evasive" !!

No problem. Btw before it goes to the hour adjust it will go to the 12hr/24hr adjust.

Good luck with your clutch!

re:

Evasive - thanks again for the clock info. I see you are in COS. Do you belong to any clubs, like maybe the 5280 in Denver? I was at the MITM last Aug with my brother (whom I bought the MCS from in April). Plan on going again this year with my own car this time :-) He has a new Countryman AWD. Shoot me an e-mail for some photos: skipt46@suddenlink.net Skip

I'm still fairly new in the MINI world hut I am familiar with the 5280 club in Denver and occasionally go to Colorado springs meet here with some of the 5280 guys. We don't have an official club here I'm COS, but we do have our own car shows we participate in.

To post pictures, you first need to upload them on a site like photobucket.com. You can them copy the image path here beginning in
