If this has been posted before, can someone direct me to the thread? If not, here is what I have noticed:

When braking, car will pull to the right (I believe it has only been to the right)...this does not happen all the time, maybe 1 out of ten times or else I would consider it an alignment issue.

Typically happens when I'm braking a little harder than normal (but I'm not jamming the brakes or locking them up).

Car is brand new (800 miles), no potholes or curbs or major bumps have been hit.

It feels like the steering is being taken over by something or someone else.

Anybody have this issue??? Is it the DSC?

Thanks...

Is it possible the car pulling into ruts in the road left by heavy trucks at intersections ? Find a empty parking lot that is relatively smooth ans level and see if it still wants to pull. If it does you have a problem and might want to consider having MINI come get it.
My car too wants to pull hard into ruts, no ruts, no pull. Putting my 16 inch wheeels and tires on for the winter helped alot. Not a issue with the car, just a function of the tire choice I made.
I have been told that certian tires do this worse than others, independant of profile.

It is annoying, but can be dealt with easier if you look for the ruts and anticipate the cars response.

Hope that helps.

It could be a dealer issue, but I notice this from time-to-time in my MCS that I have driven for 1.5 years, and I am convinced it is caused by even roads or ruts/grooves especially at stop lights. In my case, I am not worried about it. Find a flat, empty parking lot and practice some stops and see if you can replicate it.
