I managed to break the hinge on my fuel door and now I have to replace it.

I have found several write ups about removeing the parts for an R50 in order to put the S model cap on; however, I can't find anything about S models. The fuel area is slightly different, and I can seem to figure out how to remove the inner lining (splash guard?) around the fuel port.

There are 4 tabs, but I can't get them to release and I was wondering if that is what I should work on. Mini plastic is notorious for breaking (when I work on it), and I don't want to break these tabs.

Long story short, how do I change out the fuel door hinge?

bump, I'm having the same issue and it's very annoying!
