I bought a Mr.Dyno. I had been searching for a good one for a while and never bought one because I though it was too much money (for any of them). Then I found Mr.Dyno it is only $125 (i got mine over christmas so it was on sale for $80 bucks!!!) compared to the $250 price tag of the others like gtech pro comp. It is fairly ugly and it doesn't have a nice big LCD display but for a man on a buget, it does everything that the gtech does but it just doesn't look as good doing it. I have done some runs and it has returned some good numbers (the numbers matched the results other have gotten from "real" dynos). Its interface is a little awarked at first but after 5 mins I realized that it was logical and got the hang of it. I have never tried nor seen any other in-car dyno gagets (well, my dad has a CarChip but I haven't used it yet, it is $100 and plugs into your OBD II port). I know that all of these are not PDA-dynos but I thought it pertained to the forum anyways.

I have a pdyno Pdyno. It's a nice little tool, and can return some useful data.

ah, but that does not plug in to your ecu. I like the pda dyno because it can monitor everything.

Have you looked at pocket logger? pocketloggerI got the pdyno because it only cost $50 bucks. Some sort of intro price. I see it's lots more now.

I get the PDA-Dyno demo from nology on my pda and i'am wondering what sensors does the MINI have that this can read? also how are you trying to do the gear ratio check?

thanks
