how to adjust the high beam headlight on an R53

How do you adjust the high beams? I have HID's and the low beams are fine, I have one high beam that's too low. I don't wnat to mess up my low beams by getting on the wrong adjuster.

Thanks

AFAIK there is only one set of adjustment screws. Mine were set WAY low when I got it.

Nope - they adjust together.

I had a similar issue and it turned out that the high-beam bulb itself wasn't seated correctly. There's 3 little tabs that are supposed to hold it in place and one wasn't on correctly... give that a look.

As J said, If just one beam appears to be aimed wrong on a GEN1 I suggest checking to see if that bulb is seated properly in the socket.

On a GEN1 the high and the low use sep' bulbs and if a bulb isn't sitting correctly in the socket its aim is off for the reflector and it points off into never-never land

I learned this when I changed all 4 of my GEN1 (02-S) bulbs out for SilverStars..... Suddenly one beam points towards outer space .... oops, put it in the slot correctly and then it is fine . . . .
