thanks the company is F1Spec. there seats are cheap, 300 for fiberglass, 400 for carbon fiber, 500 for carbon kevlar on allmost all there seats. there well built too, and comfortable. the only problem is that there tight. im fine with it cause im a 32 waist but i think it could fit up to like a 36 maxx but for me there perfect and cost effective for a budget modder

Love your MINI! I missed out on the Space Blue in '06 by a few weeks and have wanted one ever since. Like you, I always pictured adding lime green somehow. I'm still hoping one day to get another '06, (my PW/B '06 was totaled in January) hopefully in Space Blue or Astro Black.
So what is the paint you used for the interior green?
Annette

Thanks Annette! I've worked hard! The paint is just plastic paint from a local hobby shop. Its TAMIYA COLOR, its not the best but it works

i really like the seat and for that price it sounds amazing. Did you have to do any modification to the seat to make it fit the OEM bracket? If so could you give a brief explanation i might have to order one asap if it can be done without any modification.

i had to take the oem rails off of the seat, then attatch the supplied seat brackets to the rails. the only modifications i had to make was cut the seatbelt bracket off to be able to mount it to the rails because there was no way to get it off. other than that it just took alot of trial and error in the way of mounting cause there was no diy for mounting with the oem brackets. any questions just ask.

Wow, I'm loving this car. I love the green accents everywhere. It's making me want to pull my dash apart!! I just can't think of a color...

Nice placement of the hella's. I think that's where mine will have to go.

Good work so far! I love R53s.

Wow. I really love the vinyl dipped headlight rings. The space blue with black trim instead of chrome looks so stealth! I am vicariously modding mine through your pics. Nice work!

Covering the roof was a bold move- the Space Blue with the silver roof is pretty rare since as I recall they only had it as an option for 05-06 builds- your MINI is clearly worth much more with the mods, and it definitely looks better all tied in like that.

Did you wrap your shift **** or... what is it? Can't quite tell from the pics.

love the photos. keep 'em coming.

Thinking about painting my trim pieces too, how big of a pain is it to remove them all?

not hard at all! the vent ones twist and pull out, and if im not mistaken all the other ones i pulled off with the non marking tool set. so either they pull off or twist. if you do it post pics. but the trim around my rev and spedo gauge i had to take the gauge appart, not hard.
