Hi guys, Another fan related post I'm afraid.

I've been a bit of a ***, I needed a new cooling fan as the resistor in my old one's popped. So came across a brand new OEM one on Ebay pretty cheap, advertised as a pre 03/03 part(I've got a 52 reg S). local MINI Stealers wanted £240!

Well part came, Brand new, ONLY ONE CONNECTOR though. (I have the large Connector and the small 2pin one) My fault, I should have checked in a bit more detail before buying it.

But then I was having a think about it, the only difference is that this new one is missing a relay and the two pin plug and wires. So... I'm thinking about just pinching these off the old one(I've tested the relay and it's fine) and fitting them onto the new one.

It'd be pretty easy to do, and the new fan assembly has all the mounting points where the relay would have been on an earlier model.

What do you guys think?

**Update** checked the the part number on RealOEM and it looks to be the correct one.. hmm?
