Picked my baby up yesterday (the delivery company - Autolog - had a problem with their flatbed, so went almost 100 miles to get her). Sadly, Autolog presented me with a filthy car, but any unfavorable impressions disappeared the moment I pulled away.

Before ordering my '04 MCS IB/W (Sports, All the preimum bits except Sunroof, HK, Aux input), I had taken an MC for a test drive, but had not been able to drive the S. Yesterday I was shocked at the effortless power, and plenty of available low-end. The overwhelming impression driving this car is that it is incredibly light. For info, I was driving an '02 BMW 330Ci conv until 2 months ago, and have been driving a '72 VW Beetle conv since then. I have to admit my initial sense of power anf lightness may have a bunch to do with the VW...

I'm now off to get her washed, I'll post some pics this w/e and then again next week after I get my cooperflags union jack installed on the roof (I have the flag in my garage, just need to get to the installer).

Congrats! I just came home today with a IB/W MCS also. It already has 3400 miles on it after a long trip from OH to OR.

I would wash it but it's raining/snowing here in OR.

maddog2020,
I'm sure your MINI looked much better after a bath.
Enjoy and work on those break in miles.
