I have a 2004 Mini S with Idiot lights lit up on the dash. I took it to the dealership to be scanned, and they said the only thing it needed was an ABS pump. The pump itself only costs $1,800; I bought one from a salvage yard, installed it, and bled all the air out of the system. The pedal is slightly spongey, and the Idiot lights haven't gone off. Anyone else with the same problem? or know an answer? I appreciate it, Thanks.

 

It takes a special tool to turn off the ABS light. You'll need to go to a dealer or an independent MINI tech to get that done.

If the pedal is still spongey feeling, I'd be concerned that there is still a problem somewhere.
