Seems like intresting stuff, especially the kayak attachment. Is the catalog available at the dealer yet?

Well, It's already the end of 2003 and I've had the catalog now since last week. It was printed in 11/2003.
I think you can ask for a copy of it and hopefully your dealer will surrender one for you.

The thing I'm wondering about is how they're gonna attach that bike rack to the bumper ...

Kayak Holder! Now that is something I never thought I would see made available for my MINI's factory rack!

I would love to know the part number for that!

Thanks minihune

Kayak holder part number
82 72 0 154 557
Holds a variety of single occupant water crafts. Includes rachet style straps.
No picture in catalog!

For the bike rack in the rear-
It looks like an upside down "L" bar and you can mount two bikes on it. It does tilt down (after removing a fastening pin) and backward to clear space for the rear hatch to open but the rack must be empty to do this. To mount the rack to the rear bumper area two attachment points are used that go right into the rear bumper grilles about one foot wide to each side of the white back up light. They are almost as big and round as the stock MCS tailpipes. The bike rack fits into these silver mounts.

How come I got the catalog early? I don't know. But I did supply my dealer with the full complement of European MINI dealership catalogs and pamphlets after visiting the UK this summer. Maybe my dealership only got in a few too but I got a sneak peek- I'm honored. Now I have to guard it with my life.

Cincinnati MINI had some of the new catalogs on the 19th when I picked up my MC, but in my euphoric mental state, I forgot to get one. Although I did drool all over the one the service guy let me look at.

Wow, go back there and get 5 and pass them out to all your neighbors so they can see all the cool stuff you can get for the MINI. (Not like their boring old cars).

Oops, forgot to save one for yourself and now you have none.

I assume the $450 handsfree kit is Bluetooth? Does anyone have a part #?

Pictures of the S-rubber mats?

Thanks, Mark

White side turn indicators-
This is not a new option- it is listed in the past catalog as well.
European-style signals. Cooper only it says.
Looks all black with an oval white lamp.

The rubber S mats look like the regular rubber mats but instead of the round MINI logo there is a large red S in the round emblem.

I'm not sure why the price change for the R90s since all of the other wheels have not gone up in price- even the one piece R90s in 16".

R90 17x7
2003 price was $385 each and $2565 per set of 4 rims with performance tires
2004 price is now $419 each and $2565 per set of 4 rims with performance tires

And for those with bargains in mind
R82 15x 5.5" standard 8 spoke rims and R81 15x 5.5" standard 7 hole rims
2003 price was $159 each for both style rims
2004 price is now $146 each for both style rims
