This may have already been mentioned, but the current week's US News & World Report has a big picture of a red Cooper in its Diversions section. The article doesn't talk much about it, but discusses the biggest discounts for various makes/models. Of the 20 cars listed under $25,000, only the Toyota Prius, Toyota Sienna, Dodge Neon SRT-4, and MINI have a 0% discount. You can buy a Sunfire at a 29% discount from a list price of $15,495..so the time's arrived for you to get that dream Pontiac you've been waiting for! I also found it interesting that dealers are marking the Porsche Cayenne down by 3%. The Chrysler Pacifica's already down 16%.

 

It's all supply and demand. An $90,000 SUV that won't hold more than 4 adults (3 comfortably)...yeah, there's got to be a lot of demand for that. Oh, and the fat-butt-ugly Crossfire ("I know, we'll take a minivan and make it bigger on the outside but smaller on the inside!&quot? They're not giving those away yet?
