R50/53 does the MCS have a water/coolant temp gauge?

after reading some posts in the "Aux Gauges" thread from a few days ago, i got the impression that the MCS doesn't have a water temp gauge. but today i found this pic:

and in the lower left corner i think i see a temp gauge.
so is that gauge for something else, or does the MCS actuall have a coolant temp gauge?

As far as I can tell, not only does the Nav-euqipped MINI not have a true temperature gauge (opting for an idiot light like on the VW New Beetle), the analog fuel gauge is replaced by an eight-segment LED bar graph under the nav system's LCD screen:
