Just got my mini cooper chili red, white top, cloth seats! Waited 75 days (only!) Real happy with lauderdale mini- Crystal and Bonnie made the purchasing process relatively stress free and fun......The car is awesome and fun to drive!!!!! Here's the question- do I call him jake in honor of my old 89 ford probe named Jake or pick a new name?

Congratulations on your new MINI!

We also had the pleasure to work with Crystal, Larry and Bonnie when we got our '02 MINI Cooper about 3 1/2 weeks ago. They are the best bunch! We waited for our MINI exactly 7 weeks (Placed order in late June '02) and the entire ordering/buying process went incredibly smoothly and fast with no problems whatsoever! Lauderdale MINI is the best for sure! (Don't forget to post your buying experience in the Dealer Rating System section).

I would call your car "CHILI". Why? because it is RED, HOT and SPICY

But hey its your MINI and you can call it whatever you want!

of many good times and memories. Cause I am sure that will be the case with your new MINI!!

I don't think I would name him Jake. He needs his own name as he has his own personality and you will make special memories with him. But, on the other hand, he is yours and you name him whatever you feel moved to name him. You may want to distinguish between the two! My girl is "Tabby", short for "Tabasco", as she is red, hot, and spicy! Give it some time and something will come to you!

Just want to say thanks to everyone for the tips and responding to my request for a car name.....I like Jake2 perhaps.........I'm liking the car more every day! almost makes driving in S. Florida traffic enjoyable.....Thanks "cooperforus" for the Mini meet in November...I plan on being there. This site is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
