Will be installing stripes on roof tonight and need to know the correct way to remove the stock antenna.Frost racing/sport stripes on Indi Blue......makes the car so much faster

Hey Doghouse,
I know you can just unscrew the tall antenna from the base. I do it and it doesn't affect my radio reception in the city. Taking off the base is another matter.

The base twists off also. Remove the antenna and then twist the base and pull it off. The metal base that the antenna screws into is under the black plastic base.
