i was just at a ritzy mall shopping and spotted a european mini from switzerland. having live in the washington dc area, i have seen my fair share of cars from every part of world. i have seen mercedes from hong kong, fiat from france ect...anyway i digress...this mini was parked at tyson's corner galleria, a very expensive mall full of hi-end rides, a cvt but had paddles on the steering wheel !!! i didn't have a camera and couldn't wait to see who the driver was. i would have love to be able to order this option...ahh, imagine doing what schumacher is doing in his ferrari f1.

maybe this was a grey market mini with paddles.
Someday you will be able to order CVT with paddles too.
Maybe within two years.
