When I started my MCS yesterday after it sat for maybe 4 hrs (in between morning commute and lunch), the gas guage did not rise, and the OBC indicated no miles left on the range function. I only mention it as I know for certain I had a full tank as I filled it up on my way to work.

I cycled the power a few times, but that did not fix the problem. I went ahead and drove to lunch (hungry boy) and when I was finished with lunch and re-started the car, all systems seemed to be back to normal.

Anyone else experience this? It has just gotten cold here in KY. Yesterday's tempos were in the 30's and 40's (F). That's not all that cold as far as I'm concerned and certainly I don't think cold enough to cause any misbehavior in the car's electrical system.

Anyone know if there's a known issue with the fuel tank sender?

Mine did the exact same thing..
then.....unfortunately after 2-3 times of staying on empty & later returning by no apparent reason to the correct setting.... it got permanently stuck on empty.
It would not budge!!!!
I had to have the sensor replaced.
The job took a full day.... as they had to drop the tank... etc etc etc....
It's been working fine now..... for over 6 months

Peace,
D
