R50/53 Advice for those with xenons in the winter...
Where I live I get at least a few ice storms every winter. The kind where sleet covers the front of your car while driving and creates a thick ice shell.
It occured to me that in those situations if I were to squirt fluid on my windshield at night to clear it, the headlight squirters would activate also and could become jammed with ice while trying to retract after squirting. Those puppies are expensive to replace so I decided I'd like to avoid this risk.
I checked the interior fusebox and pulled fuse #25 which disabled the headlight squirters. The lights still work fine - only the squirters were disabled.
Just thought those of you in similar climates might find the info useful.
