Swami, please enlighten me...

Is it true? is my on board computer really useless? My dealer tells me so...

it reads the gas mileage for the life of the car--I can't reset it to reflect only recent mileage after each fuel refill (never mind that its not totally accurate--mine hasn't been reset since I got it!)

And same thing with speed...it reflects the average speed since ?the beginning of time?

My dealer says nope, you don't reset it...and I didn't find anything in the handbook...???? I gotta be missing something! Jenni

That button that you push to switch between each thing, hold it down for about 2 seconds on whichever one you want to reset.

No Kidding--I was incredulous with the dealer, but she assured me that was how the OBC worked--ongoing...

I hate when I have to take it back in there...

's a good thing for these forums where you can get the skinny--on something as simple as that! go figure

Yikes- I'm not sure this MA (hard to call her that) would know a CVT from a 6 speed manual! If you have any other choice of dealership, I'd run, not walk, to that resource.
