Service Mode

2004 MCS. In order to put my car in 'service mode' with the Modular Front End ('MFE') extensions, do I have to remove some of the fasteners that hold the inner fender linings?

You certainly do on a 2006 - - I suspect the 2004 is the same.

Yes you have to and you have to remove the lower shield too. Back the fasteners out with screw driver then pry/pop them out. It's very fast.
