GOD Im so happy to have my car back. That's the good part...

I have the following problems however... There is a dime sized spot of primer on my MFSW... The black trim on the front spoiler has a wider gap on the driver side than the passenger side.. and it looks like they put the new hood on a bit sloppy as there is also a wider gap on the passenger side then the driver side when the hood is closed. The insurance company said that they warrentied for life the repair work done by the shop so I guess it's not a big deal... BUT DAMN. Why do I have to get the car back like that.

P.S. What 75hp free? drive a neon for 3 weeks and then get back into your MCS feels like a race car now!

Okay, what work did you get done? Did I miss an accident?

Seems like you need to go back in any case. I was able to get mine fixed with no problem and came back good as NEW!

So the complaints that I have listed have been all the front end repairs from this accident.. Im certainly not going to let them slide on this one. It will be fixed. It just really annoys me after all this time to get my car back and see that they didnt fix it right.

Yep, this is the sad reality of post-accident body shop repair. Car's are never ever the same. Body shops typically do very shoddy repair jobs which in turn lower the resale value of your vehicle. Been there and done that 8 years ago.

Factory fit and finish can NEVER ber reproduced to 100% accuracy.

Make sure you don't have hidden frame damage in your car, which could be a resale value KILLER.

If you are not happy with the quality of repairs made, take back the car and make them redo the items you are not satisfy with. Once the car is brought back to a "decent" state, sell it and get a new one, believe me you'll do yourself a big favor by cutting your losses from a vehicle that has had accident repair. Body shop repair will hunt you for as long as you own your car, guaranteed.

Good luck.

LOL. Yeah might have to work on my shifting now.

Cooper4us, that is the most depressing statement I have heard all week
The frame and all mechanical bits are fine, it's just getting these clowns to put the plastic bits back on right and line the hood up.... I couldnt afford to go thru the whole car buying process again... This sucks...

Can someone post a close up of the trim joint from behind the front tires? The bit where the side skirt meets the fender trim. Im trying to find something to show the clowns at the body shop.. Any help would be appreaciated.
