for those of you waiting for the lucky day when your mini arrived, i have found a site that will give you the details you need to track your mini (even at sea!).

go to http://www.mini2.com and click on "technical" and then click "diy advice and faqs" then scroll down and click on "delivery, shipping and order tracking" and follow the instruction. it is so cool!!

i found out my mini is currently at sea and will arrive in port of new york on 11/20!

 

I did not buy my MCS from a dealer. I got it with 1,000 miles on it. I missed out on all of the "tracking" stuff but I also did not have to wait 7 or 8 months for delivery. I am interested, however, in getting ahold of the original order for the car. Does anyone know if that can be gotten? My car was originally built in June of 2002. I got it one year ago this week, so it's our first anniversary!! and I couldn't be happier!
