Factory radio for options programming?

Ok, so I went to the dealer to have the drl and auto locks turned off in my 04 mcs. But... I bought the car used and it has an aftermarket radio. Does anyone know a way to program this without the factory radio? Or would anyone like to sell or rent me a factory radio so the dealer can program the car?

They can't reprogram the BCM without the OEM head unit installed? That sounds a bit weird. I could sell you the old head unit from my '04, but I can't see why that would matter - there aren't, as I recall, and programmable options that involve the head unit.

Yeah, that's what the dealer told me. How much for your radio?
