I've heard mention of this (a 300MB download?) here in the forum and I've also seen some super-schweet photos too.

After searching for this I can't seem to find it.

This has to be something different from the applet at the miniusa.com website.

Keep looking on the MINI2 site.. there should be a link somewhere... but it's not too exciting.. it's really only good for getting some screen grabs, and to look at the options that we don't have.. (and laugh about the ones that they don't have... :smile: )

Can't find it, I find the racer program but not the configurator.

I NEED SOME GOOD SCREEN GRABS. :smile:

Here is the thread that I used to find the MINI configurator. If you follow the thread you'll get most of the answers as to how to download and install it on a CD. I think a CD burner is required.

What it does, is let you configure your MINI, MINI One or MINI S with colors, wheels, lights and interior options and then you can save the pictures from 5 exterior angles plus the interior dash. (And the soft top is an option).

Also, some of the options have little animations, (the headlight washer was one of the best).

Helps pass the time while waiting for the MINI.

 

go to http://www.mini.com click on the international site. Then from the MINI drop down, choose "3D MINI"

 

FYI: the instructions on the MINI2 post for using Daeman tools are incorrect. I could never get it to work using that program. Just follow the instructions to burn to disk.
