That would be the best place to start. Feel free to call our Shop and we can discuss options for you that will work for what you are going to do.

My favorite mod so far (of the two performance mods I've made) has been the addition of my 15% Way Motorworks pulley. I love it!! And Way is great, he'll give you good, objective answers to your questions. I've been told that a reduction pulley is the best bang for the buck performance mod you'll find, and I'd have to agree, It came to less than $100 and my little car has turned into a rocket! (I love the sound!) I also installed a strut tower brace by M7, and really loved the improved handling. Its a miracle I havent been pulled over yet with these two mods! I would highly recommend both, especially since for some reason the '05 mcs's seem to have a lot of trouble with mushrooming in the strut towers. This will be a preemptive strike if it hasnt happened yet, or solve the problem if it has (I had mushrooming on both sides). Either way, these are two low cost high benefit mods to make on your mini. Good luck!

Im not looking to modify the hell out of this thing, I already learned my lesson with my 1300+hp stang, hence the screenname.

But what simple mods are there? This was my grandfathers, who recently passed away and handed this mini down to me.. I love it..

Is there anyone that sells a smaller pulley/chip combo or is there something else more worthwhile? Maybe the supercharger would be overspun with a smaller pulley..
Congrats! I got my 2004 2 days before you did. Great color!

In my place, boys & girls we called them "guys" -- kinda sounds equal/neutral.

Well, I AM a guy but I didn't want to be included in the "guys" he was talking about. I wasn't/didn't crap on anyone and was just clarifying. I don't think my post was at all disrespectful to his Grandfather or his car. Merely stating it was cool I got my car just days before and it looks like his.

I hate explaining things...I think I'll go back to lurking...

Here you go, typical sensitive American. All I did was point out a statement he made was inaccurate about his car.

Grow up.

Why Americans?
You could have just zero in on the poster.

I'm Asian & I feel it's wrong to generalize.

when i said guys i forgot the apostrophe. I meant "guy's grandfather"

1. typical american - not quite, you'd be surprised at how diverse my background is.
2. grow up - I'm a 33 year old grown man.

And yes, JustinGTP, you're proving your lack of class.

I belonged to a Lotus7 forum in England, typical when some brits stereotype americans.
I'm asian living in new england and hurts me when some generalize a certain groups.

Ok, let just forget the whole thing. Let's drop it.

Done!

Ah, that makes sense... I didn't think what I said was bashing or anything...

I simply made a comment about the car not being fully loaded when the original poster said that the car was. You just had to read into it too much (hence sensitive, perhaps dramatic) and blow it out of proportion to think that it's about "crapping" (nice "classy" word, by the way) on the car. God, I drive a MINI.... Also, I don't even know how on earth you come to the conclusion I was trying to offend the recently deceased grandfather. Still, grow up. You can be 33, but you definitely don't have the maturity. It's more the fact that you have to grow up emotionally.

For exhaust, Check out WayMotor works again. Everybody seems to love the miltek and stratmosphere. If I were you, I would do the pulley package first and then the suspension and finally the exhaust.

Digging through an old post there ufomini... I think TT32V54 hasn't replied to his post since last year.
