Took my wifes MSC in today for a sunriif rattle and a little slow starting problem. When we picked it up the service advisor said they loaded the latest software. I asked what version, he did not know the number, but it was the latest. Said it would fix the starting and the stumble. I guess tomorrow morning we'll see of he is right. This will be a great day in the life of our MINI if it is true.

The wife had her CVT in on Tuesday... check engine light had been on for two days... ran ok... they told her to schedule it in... idle control system fault... and they updated programming as well. A-OK...

Lakesands,

Let us know. My '04 MCS came through without the stumble but I do have the Yo-Yo. Rumor has it that the new software was delivered to the VPC and '04s coming into the States had it loaded. If so, my '04 is testimony to the elimination of the stumbe issue.......now, about that yo-yo....

Well I think it is better. On first start of the morning I feel a stumble, but it seems to be reduced in severity. I have noticed that the little stumble that happens at every first gear clutch release is completely gone beyond the very first one out of the driveway.

I have a sunroof question. W asked to have ratlle or squeek fixed in our sr, it does not seem to be fixed, although the dealer said it was. Do any of you who have had that repaired know what they did to fix it? Thanks.
