In my car the culprit is the pillar on the driver's side of the center stack. Some judicious fiddling & tightening seems to have cured it.
I have that exact same rattle. Just yesterday while I was detailing out the interior I slid a small, flat silver washer in between the pillar and the bottom portion of the console to tighten it up and it seems to have worked.
