I have an '06 MCS with TSW springs, rear sway bar, new front sway bar, camber plates and rear adj. control arms. I'm running 205-50-16s right now on stock 16" v-spokes and the tires are about shot. I'm wondering if 215-50-16s will fit. Will they rub? Are there any other concerns I should have before taking the plunge and putting them on?

'06 MCSC here, nothing but a h-sport rear sway, but I do have the same wheels and I'm on my 2nd set of 215/50/16s and I love 'em. I don't know what effect the other stuff you have will have. There is a very limited choice in this size. I've used the Kumho ASXs and have the General UHPs now.

 

That's a good enough answer for me...THANKS! And, after reading some older posts, it looks like I'll be running on 215-50-16 Kumho ASX all seasons for my "tweener" tires, next time around, then. I've enjoyed the 205-50-16 tires...just thought I'd like to try a different size as long as there would be no rubbing issues. For the rest of the year, I run Falken Azenis RT615 205-50-15s in the summer and 15" Blizzaks in winter.
