Does anyone have any opinions of the All-Season Run-Flats versus the Performance Run-Flats on the MCS Sport Package.

I may have found a MCS to buy. The only difference that I have found is that the available car has the AS tires vs. the Performance that I was going to order.

Thanks

I've got the 17" All Seasons and they seem to stick to the road just fine. I test drove a car with the performance tires and really couldn't tell the difference. But maybe you're a more hardcore driver than I.

Just a note. I got a screw in my runflats ..by the way they work great. I had no idea.

The manual says it cannot be patched but my mini dealer called Goodyear and they said no problem if you use a radial patch. I can't be plugged though

Well, if you've FOUND a car, and the price is not several thousand over list, you could consider the cost of new tires (~$800?) a VERY cheap "entry ticket"! Plus, you're coming up on winter, and could motor around on the AS's while doing research on the alternatives. You might even decide on a set of "sport" wheels with higher performance rubber, and keep the AS wheels/tires for the winter.

Just an option! If everything else is OK in the car, I wouldn't let the tires stop me!
