Ideas to Protect Front Bumper????

Hi all,

I recently went from living in a place with a drive way to a place with only street parking. The neighborhood is fill bumper to bumper with cars. There are a number of Minis in the new hood. I also notice many of their bumpers are chewed up. Seems like the residents of the neighborhood play bumper cars when parking. I have a bumper bully for the rear bumper and it has kept my car scratch free for the first whole year when i ahve had to venture into the city areas. Now that I am living in the city, I need a solution for the front bumper as well.

Question: Has any one come up with a solution or mod (to the bumper bully) that would allow it to protect the front bumper as well?

Thanks

Get some spike strips for your front bumper.

I've heard of some people screwing the tow hook into the front. That way most cars will come into contact with the tow hook before hitting the bumper.

I saw a bunch of cars with some kind of bumper guard or bumper bullys on them in New York yesterday. Most look like they're made for rears but maybe can be adapted to the front too?

I think I may just grab another bumper bager and hack it to work for the front. I'll let you know how it works out. I know these things look funny on the car but I'd rather deal with them out while parked over night then have some careless fool (and there are many in my neighborhood) use my car's bumper as their own personal battering ram.
